I've talked with my spouse about what it means for our income, but we haven't taken any steps beyond that. Not sure what we're going to do. To be honest, I feel kind of hopeless about the whole thing. Just the state of mind I'm in at the moment though due to so many other things. |

Any link, Linda? There are large tax increases for some of the population every year. Poor people are actually GIVEN money at tax time. Any info on who this one will apply to and how much it will be? |

Thanks, Linda. Since it says that this will only happen IF they don't renew existing tax cuts (and they haven't voted on it yet), and it's an election year, I'm thinking they'll renew, and it will all be business as usual. I cannot imagine congress REALLY raising taxes by that much right before elections. I think it's just pre-election drama. |

It was on our news, too! I'm with Anna though.. I'm hoping/thinking it's just pre-election junk.. to scare people and then when it's passed.. oh!! how we'll be so grateful to this wonderful Gov. for extending it! (not)....
