Dh has been in the same line of work since 1990, hi-tech industry. Since '95 he has worked at the same location, albeit for the proprietor and through 'vendors' as they call it, companies they hire to do related work.

Since Aug, the proprietor has been and will be shutting down for one week per month, possible through the new year in Jan. They are also cutting back on vendors. Dh's company is one of the lucky ones that will be taking on the extra load from the cutbacks.

Seems everyone is holding their breath until the elec tion. I am VERY pessimistic. I do not want to wake up the morning after and find elec tion problems (B ush/G ore fiasco revisited) or B O as pre z. God have mercy. If B O wins our country is toast.

I really don't like being pessimistic but I think our country is toast regardless. Mr. Bernanke sealed that deal with QE3.
