Long and disturbing article: http://www.slate.com/articles/health_an ... k_anchor_3 The mother in this article would have spent her money better if she went to counseling for her psychological issues. The value of her 3rd son was so little that he was almost aborted, but her daughter's value is $40,000. I feel bad for her sons because it's obvious who gets the love and attention in their house. And it's sad, but not surprising, that these doctors are doing this just to rob mentally unstable people of their money. I think what this family had to go through just to get their daughter is proof that people shouldn't be playing God. Wanting a girl is one thing, but going to these extremes is psychotic. |
