He died from complications of heart surgery, they were trying to do a bypass. An elderly aunt of mine also died like that. When my dad had a heart attack, they did an angiogram and put in a stent. Those surgeries are not all they are cracked up to be. The other issue is that lots of people suffer dementia after open heart surgery due to the junk that flushes into their systems from the heart-lung machine.
