Gives the phrase, "Let the cat out of the bag" a whole new meaning.

Way to go, TSA!

I know they say their scanners aren't made to catch these things, but exactly what are the visual scans good for if they don't see a whole cat?

Well, it doesn't surprise me. I know people who have sent large knives and guns through and they were not detected. The TSA workers I've seen have always seemed to be doing a good job, but I used to know someone who was a TSA agent and he cared more about trying to get girls phone numbers (key word: trying), than checking bags. Now he's a SWAT agent. So yeah, with a loser like him being able to get jobs like that, I'm not surprised by stuff like this. And saying they're only meant to detect explosives and weapons is the lamest excuse ever. They find a tiny little shampoo bottle that has a tiny amount of liquid in it, but they don't notice a cat? Lol.

Wouldn't the cat have made noise?? I know if I put one of my cats into a bag and zipped it up.. they'd go bananas. I can't see a cat staying quiet while going through all of that.
It's lucky it didn't get squashed!! They don't treat baggages nicely so I'm sure he was thrown around and had other bags put on top of his bag.
Poor cat.

They dont treat pets in carriers nicely, either. I watched in horror once as my cat was outside in a luggage truck for the longest time with all the noise of the planes, etc. I wanted to get off the plane and rescue my cat and cancel my trip. Then they unceremoniously grabbed her carrier and tossed her unto the conveyor belt into the plane. She never traveled with us again. Not you can tote your pet on board with you.

I have a friend that is moving to Hawaii soon. She just bought a small little puppy. I couldn't believe it! I asked her if she knows how the trip will be for that poor little doggy?
She said she can take it on the plane with her.
Now my question is: What about doggy's bathroom needs?? It can't hold it for that long of a trip.

Have your friend check out this website, Tory. I think her puppy would be quarantined for 120 days if she takes it with her and it's under 10 months.

Yes, she said the puppy would be quaranteed before she can get it once she moves.
She just married a guy that is in the military and he's being transferred to Hawaii.
Thanks for the link. I'll forward it to her. :)
