I can't even imagine what their parent's are going through!

I've read many books of "lost at sea" survival and I'm just not seeing how they can still be alive under the circumstances.

I'm praying that they are still alive and are found.

This is such a sad situation. The boys made a poor decision, and honestly, it's time to give up the search. Without their boat and fresh water, they don't stand a chance. Some friends of ours had a similar situation with one of their church members earlier this summer. He went out and never came back. Fortunately, they did recover his body a couple hundred miles up the coast. He was just in his early 20's. It happens all the time in FL but it never stops being sad...

I'm sure it happens more than we ever hear. So sad. :(

Me, too. I keep watching the news to see if they have been found.

I read that they will call off the official search tonight at sunset. They searched way longer than I thought they would. The families plan to keep searching. They are financially able to do so.

I guess it's because they are so young is why it struck a cord with me.
I wonder why they were ever out there with such bad weather in the area, too. The guy that sold them the gas is probably blaming himself and it's not his fault at all.
