What do you think?
That's kind of like saying i don't like tea. There's hot tea and cold tea and loose leaf and bagged. There are gobs of flavors and combos, blah blah blah. Same with poetry!
Poetry is not "my genre" either BUT..... there is some that i like. My bff wrote a poem in my journal, and illustrated it, many years ago. It is still a favorite that cracks me up. I should print it out and frame it actually! And "Opportunity" written by Edward Rowland Sill in the mid 1800's has always been inspirational to me. I know some of "Where the Sidewalk Ends", some of Helen Steiner Rice, and some from a book i found in the library when i was "branching out" in my reading were really nice. But for the last 30 years or so - bleh.
Your "Experience" one is rather nice.
It reminds me of the "dopamine trap" i just learned about! It goes something like this.... "when we’re constantly looking, searching, craving that great feeling so we eat more, buy more, or scroll more, believing that the next bite, the next purchase, or the next click will scratch that itch...but it never does".
