So tonight, the topic came up in conversation whether food "A" was "healthy"

I began to say that the word "healthy" has become almost meaningless since people have so many definitions for the word.

That's when DD cut in and set matters straight.

"Yeah. Sometimes when people say something is "healthy," they mean it's healthier than, say, Olives. Other times they mean it's healthier than [long thoughtful pause . . . . . . . . ] carbon monoxide."

I guess that pretty well sums up the modern use of the term
