I *LOVE* Autumn! I love the weather, the colors, the smells, the "new year" feel (back to school, Jewish new year!). :D

So, i started thinking about having a get-together. I haven't done one in eons!

I got ideas for foods, decorating, things to do.

Then, last night at church they were talking about handing out goodie bags on the 31st, from the church! :o :D 8-) NOW my mind is thinking we should put the 2 together! (Won't mess up MY house and others can pitch in!)

I must float the idea past pastor and those handing out the goodie bags but who's going to say no?

I want to do chili with sides of fries and hot dogs. Hot spiced apple cider, cocoa, coffee. (Could have cold water and little cans of apple juice in the fridge?) Snackies like nut cups (in small dixie cups), mini-pumpkin muffins, chees and crackers, fruit - cuties and apples.

Maybe find a smallish puzzle to have "started" on a table, a craft table, a game table with maybe a cootie-catcher you have to do before you get a game card and the game card is roll-a-turkey.

 Of course!

I'm ditching the dogs for sure. Probably ditch the fries, too. No way to keep them good. I'll make sure others are bringing things. Ack - scaring myself!
