So, it's like this: I'm not generally fond of reading grown up fiction - I feel like it's a waste of time. I did enjoy fiction when I was young, but now I only read one or two grown up fiction books a year (I do read a fair amount of the stuff DD reads).
But, people discuss these novels, or I read online reviews of them, and I get curious about what certain books are about, and whether they should be in my one-to-two-a-year. Or whether I should get them for DD, if they're books I didn't read when I was young.
I've discovered that if I type in the title and the word "summary" (and scroll past the paid sites) I can usually save SEVERAL hours of wasted time, and still know the main gist of the book.
It's a real time (and money) saver
