We're going to friend's for dinner tonight and that's what she's making. I'm a little concerned it will be too hot for my delicate gringo mouth!! But, they have little kids so maybe not. What could i bring that would complement the meal? |

Bring a salad to cool your mouth. I always bring salad with lots of veg and bread that I can make my meal if there is too much meat at get togethers. |

Salad would've been perfect. It would've been like a tomato cucumber onion salad but that would've been good, too. However, dh said, "Are you ready to go?" and i had no idea we were leaving that soon. (I forgot how far away their town is!) I had already wrapped up a loaf of just-baked zucchini bread so i just took that. We had it for dessert.
