I was home alone with the dogs yesterday when dd's dog wandered into the kitchen to see if there was anything in his dog bowl. It's in one of those wire stands about 3" off the floor. His rabies tag got hooked on the wire so when he lifted his head it came with him. He freaked out and ran, yelping like he was being attacked, until the tag broke off!!!
I mean 
. He wouldn't come into the kitchen for quite a while after that and when i put the shock collar on him to go outside later, he acted so afraid of it! (I put it on him as a reminder because the neighbors have free-range chickens.)
I had to keep him close and keep assuring him that everything was ok. (We have "vicious" pit bulls.)
