I'd love to get my hands on one of those sets for my preschoolers.

*I* do! (apparently they call them "felt sets" now - flannelgraph was probably trademarked)

I found these two:

https://www.unitednow.com/product/8226/the-beginners-bible-baby-jesus-felt-set.aspx

https://www.unitednow.com/product/5110/small-bible-felt-set.aspx

Beginner's Bible makes a whole line of them. If I can find them, I'll share
(I have one or two : )

Wow! SO much cheaper than the Betty Lukens sets! Maybe because hers had the backgrounds?

I talked to a lady at church today that has the whole smaller Lukens set and said i can used it if i'm very careful with it. ;)

If the "Betty Lukens" set (never heard it by that name) is the 89. one from United Arts - it's expensive because it is HUGE. Seems like the whole Bible! (downside - you have to cut it all out)

OTOH - the Beginner's Bible ones are only one story.

I loaned a couple of my sets to a friend who helps at the local homeless shelter. She said it was a big hit with the little ones there. So, I guess the modern kids with their screen time still enjoy these things 8-)

I had a whole bunch of Betty Lukens sets when my kids were little. The girls loved them, but the boys - not so much.

Uh oh. My class is mostly boys! Well, i'll use them sparingly and maybe the newness of them will interest them for a bit.

*I* can't wait to get them out and see what's there!!! I've never used them but ALL the sunday school teachers used them when i was growing up. They're already cut out for me. 8-)
