Post subject:  Health Insurance
The only things i can find are websites that want your info: phone, address, and email along with how old you are and maybe a couple of other questions and then they start sending you emails. I've been trying to call one and they are unavailable. Are these all email scam things?! :evil: Why does this have to be so difficult?

Perhaps inquire with your employer - see if they can recommend something, or if you could sign up for the group plan?

How far are you from Medicare, eligibility?

If your income level is low enuf, sometimes being uninsured (and qualifying for public assistance or a hospital write-off or sliding scale) might be better than insurance. OTOH, insurers can negotiate much better prices sometimes.

Next time you're at a medical facility, go talk to their billing office, and ask them which providers are best - they know!


And ask how the payments would go for *you* between being uninsured and various providers.

I'd say this is one job that's better NOT done on the computer - except possibly reading reviews.
