And don't forget Librivox!

I did an "advanced search" (to get books that were BOTH Spanish AND Childrens)

https://librivox.org/search?title=&author=&reader=&keywords=&genre_id=1&status=all&project_type=either&recorded_language=5&sort_order=catalog_date&search_page=1&search_form=advanced

Not familiar with that one. Will check it out. It says public domain. Does that mean they're free to download? :) Altho', somehow i don't think the impact of Tom Sawyer would be the same in espanol! :ugeek:

Yes - it's public domain : ) Free : )

And, notice, in the adult Spanish selection, they have the Bible : )

I do suppose Tom Sawyer would lose something in translation - but I don't even like Twain in English, so that might be a good thing ; )

How do you do that?! I do an advanced search and get either the advance search or the language - not both. ??

Go to Librivox:

https://librivox.org/

(don't even bother clicking Read/volunteer or Listen/catalogue - just stay on that first page)

In the Upper right corner, you'll see "about"

Below that there's a search bar that says (greyed out) "Search by author, title or reader"

below that (RIGHT Below that - like a caption) it says "advanced search" in blue
click on that to open a new search panel that lets you fill in several fields for one search.

Let me know if that helps : )

It may be something weird, like your browser. Maybe if you try it in a different browser - like firefox -it might work better.

If not, email me what you want to search for, and I'll email you the link to the results! :D
