Walmart isn't a brand of clothing as such, but they do HAVE house brands like George. I think Wonder Nation & Faded Glory are also theirs.

Growing up my mom would make us sleeveless dresses that looked like muumuus. We grew up in deep South FL with no a/c. I can tolerate heat (survived TX summers). I am now acclimating to a tad more humidity. it's why I needed all cotton pj's. Linen is also great for keeping you covered but cool. Clothes made from linen last longer, too.

I had a moomoo. :) I'm going to try cotton clothes this summer.

Washable Raw Silk (tho a tad hard to find) is the coolest fabric on the planet. Light, breathes, covers, protects from sun. It's what I wear (in long sleeves!) in very hot weather when I need to be in the sun. It feels like cotton -but softer -to the touch.
