:? I am sure not liking the styles i see in catalogues or online. I must buy one pair of jeans and a couple of tops for the spring/summer season. Bleh. We are so limited in the clothing for older women (ie NOT in college!) in this area.

I would try making my own but the material is so expensive i could buy at least 2 for the price of making one!

I like the thrift stores for this reason. I WANT to buy something that's "out of style"

I don't WANT to be "mutton dressed as lamb!"

If you know your size & brand, often you can find used online - try Threadup or Ebay - if you buy the exact thing you already have/buy (for instance, another Lands End cardigan in size 12 in a different color than you already have) - you can be pretty sure of a good fit : )

No, silly!

Brand, as in a brand of clothing that has already made some clothes that fit you comfortably. (you know, look at the label in the back of the collar  )

My usual out fit is a crinkly elastic waist skirt and a v-neck elbow sleeve tee. Also like camp shirts over tank tops. Haven't worn jeans since my youngest was born, so 21 yrs.

These camp shirts by Lee Riders. They wash and wear, no ironing

I like Rider - that's the jeans i wear but these tops look too warm for me. I just need tank tops!
And realistically, i should be looking at capris since the weather is hitting the 60's this week! LOL

That's how mom felt her first year here! I can't believe she got so acclimated the second season. I know you've lived in the cold enuf to know that you are NOT going to acclimate. Poor baby. It's SO gorgeous out at 64.

Is "Walmart" a brand?
