 Whatever. They are listening.  I don't "talk" to my puter anyway but i am often surprised to get ads about things i've searched online. Really annoying since i search for so MANY weird random things. I checked my settings and they're all off but i get them anyway. And remember that thing with the dyslexic address? Uh-huh. |

I don't know where i got the idea but i remember when i was 7yo i tho't people were watching me all the time.  We had two small opaque windows in the bathroom and it always gave me the creeps. I always tho't all mirrors were two-way. Even now it crosses my mind - in motel rooms and even at home! Now i have to worry about my tv, ipad and computer! No wonder i don't want an iphone, too! |

Mind you, I think generally there's no human entity out there that really *cares* what I'm doing personally. But it is FOR SURE that my computer noses into my business for the sake of targeted ads, etc. If anyone really cares, they CAN watch everything. The technology is there. *I* used to be able to take over other folks' computers - legitimately - I know how easy it is to do! |
