I found this weather website last summer, trying to avoid the media hype and paranoia during hurricane season. They had unbiased information, you know, wind speed, temps, without the panic inducing adjectives and sound bite flourishes.

Just the facts.

You can subscribe to daily weather forecasts for your area. I get them in my email everyday. They also have awesome weather related articles. Here is the latest about 'agukabams' a name given to unusual Australian cyclones that intensify AFTER landfall.

It is definitely hard to find a place to just get the facts!

Another good one is www.spaghettimodels.com and he has a Facebook page called Mike's Weather Page. He lives in Tampa, FL.

Tory and I used this a lot during the hurricanes. His website has tons of helpful information and graphics and he doesn't just cover FL weather. He takes info from NWS, NOAA, etc and makes it easy to understand and see what's going to happen.

That's really interesting about the Australian cyclones, I look forward to reading about that.
