My boys go on Wed to have their teeth pulled. The dentist will only do 2 teeth at a time. :(
We were hoping to have them all done at once.
Please keep them in prayer this week. They are both sick with colds but seem to be doing better today.
We will have to go back for the last 2 teeth to be pulled once they recover from this first visit.
They are very nervous!

If they are asleep when it is done , it is a piece of cake, kinda like having wisdom teeth pulled.
Have they had any of those pulled yet?

No. The ortho thinks the wisdom teeth will be fine once the teeth get straightened.
Also, I don't think they will be put out for this, I think it's just shots to numb the area.
These are side teeth not back teeth so it shouldn't be so bad overall.

Praying Tory. My little Meadow has to have both of her incisors (Top eye teeth) pulled on the 28th of this month. I'm praying! Hugs to you. Lots of cool soft foods. :)

OOh.. why??
I'll be praying for her, (and you!)
I am going to let them pick a few special things to eat. I know they like banana smoothies but I'm drawing a blank after that, lol!
One thing, theirs will be on one side of the mouth at a time. Your dd is having one off of each side..... poor thing! I'll be praying.

Yes, she has too many teeth and if I'm not mistaken-but I could be-these are baby teeth and they are trying to make room to see how the others are going to come in. She is going to have to get braces regardless but not for 2 years. I'm praying I've graduated and have a decent job by then. :)

Ideas of foods to eat. Soft canned spaghettis if they like those. Meadow loves Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs and the Ravioli. They are filling. They will be hungry and do need to eat. Any sort of pain meds make you so sick without food on your stomach. Creamed potatoes is always good, even though those foods aren't so cool, and of course soups. For cool foods you can do smoothies and ice creams, puddings, soft fruits-canned fruits ect. Since it's not the wisdom teeth the chances of dry sockets will be less, unless it's molars, then they will have to be careful.

My guys have too many teeth, also. The teeth that are being pulled are right next to the eye teeth.. one back. And the same place on the lower teeth.
Thanks for the list, I just draw a blank on things.
The ravioli is a good idea, I think they both like that and the spaghetti.

My dentist will try not to pull a tooth if he can, He believes that you need all of them except the wisdom teeth, that 99 percent of all people have to have removed.

DD had hers removed so that her teeth would not be pushing up against each other .

The last few years my teeth have been moving., Have spaces where I never had any before. They were never straight per say but did not have a lot of spaces. If I had the money, I would have all the upper ones removed and have a denture made. I have two crows up there and really need two back teeth removed, but my dentist willnot do it. I may have to go to another to have that done. Putting a crown on them will not help and I hate crowns, getting food inbetween them is a big pain , I should Have money in stock in floss. :)

When my wisdom teeth were removed, they gave me scrambled eggs for my first meal (I know that wouldn't be a problem for you ; )

If they like any cooked cereals (oats, etc) those are good, too.
