I live in the land of plural marriage and I am dating a woman who used to be a fourth wife. Though her past relationships were a little different from what is described in the article, some people can have a slightly different perspective, depending on their background and past experiences.

My first thought was that it was polygamy, but now I see that it's worse than that. Men have multiple wives, but it's still a marriage between two people. The wives aren't all married to each other. They're legally married only to the man. In this case, the two women are married to the man, but also to each other. Very bizarre.

...and if you think that Social Security is in financial trouble now, just wait until an unlimited number of spouses can earn benefits off the earnings record of one spouse. Think about that.
