I got a little excited when i saw THREE PG13 movies in our theater! One is legos - dismissed that. Then there was Flatliners and Mountain Between Us. Then i read reviews and ..... not something we want to see. :?

I like to go to the movies but there is NOTHING worth seeing!

I agree Sis, the mountain between us to me was horrible. I hate it when it starts out good and then goes down hill.
also they donot put out as many movies as they used to . you could count on every week four or five new movies to come out, not any more.

True. Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix have pretty much taken over the "movie" industry. It's too much money to spend on going out to see a movie, even at "matinee" prices.

As far as "watching a movie" goes - i agree. But the "going out" part isn't met. I like to watch other people watching movies sometimes, or splurge on popcorn with dh, or go out to eat or shop before or after. And, it's just not the same on a smaller screen. Our tickets are $8 apiece so i don't feel too bad about it.
