I have a hodge podge of garage sale wooden picture frames I have collected over the years that need a facelift. Since I am planning on a picture wall, I was thinking making them all one color. Since it's a big task I thought spraying them would be quicker. I have used spray paint to update an old metal lawn chair, an office cabinet, but never tried wood. |

Well, perhaps my response is late, but DON't do it in your garage or ANYWHERE near ANYTHING! Our car was recently accidentally painted by someone spray painting several feet away. It was done with a protective curtain a good distance away - very carefully we thought - but still the paint worked its way over to our car. It was expensive to fix! Thank goodness, the painter was a sweet person who made it right for her t) But a hard lesson to learn. (as for whether the paint will work on the wood - I have no experience -so can only offer an affirmative "guess" : ) |
