:D This is such good news for our fire crews and those being threatened by fire!!! Our farmers have had ample time to get their crops harvested so i think EVERYBODY around this area will be happy to see the rain! It's supposed to rain most of the week.

The question is, is our water table low enuf that our basement won't flood with several days of rain!?

Yay for rain! Praise the Lord!!

But boo for leaking water inside the house. :(
We have a slow leak in dd's bedroom. Only drips during very heavy rain, but it's still one more thing to add to the list.

ONE MORE THING TO ADD TO THE LIST - YUP! :? Ds does roofing as part of his job and early this summer he mentioned having some "leftovers". He said he'd be willing to help us roof the house but the summer was so hot that nobody ever mentioned it again. Now that it's raining....

Dh has gotten a bit lax at getting these things done so i may pick up the slack and push for the important stuff like the roof and a window and maybe even a sump pump or something. It's aggravating that these are things i can't get done myself. I may look into a handyman if SOMEONE doesn't get some things done. :ugeek:
