The dog was laying at the top of the stairs while i was upstairs. We keep the door closed to keep the 2 dogs apart. The bird was out and kept bugging the dog. (I could tell what was happening from the tweets and whines.) The dog went after him once and came back to his post. The dumb bird had to dog it again and this time the dog nailed him and broke a wing. Now silly bird can't fly. I don't want to set him anywhere too high because when he tries to fly he will thump too hard on the floor! :o Poor thing.

Sadly, as I used to tell my sister about her domestic geese, the phrase "bird brain" was not created in a vacuum. :geek:

SO! Found out dd has been a vet tech! She was looking at his wing this morning and said it's just swollen, not broken! :) She's done so many things - a testament to her personality. ;)
