One thing i have greatly enjoyed (but not taken proper full advantage of) is the chance to have a morning routine! :) Dh has been out of town for a week. He usually takes care of all the doggie duties but, of course, they have fallen to me while he is gone.

I have been letting him out around 7am to pee, feed him and get my day started. We've had VBS this week so we leave for that and after dropping the kids off i take him for a run. (HE runs. I follow in the car. ) He always poops on his run out a dirt road not far from town.

The kids eat lunch at VBS (!) and i pick them up around 12:30.

It all works out so nicely. :)

too much info
Do not have a specifc time to get up since DH has been home, you would think so after 3 and a half months.
Bathroom, brush teeth, wash face and put face creams on, including spf.
brush hair and put up on my head.
Get dressed.
Put water on for coffee I have my amaretto coffee. check email. go make up bed.
see if laundry needs to be done.
I read for a while and them it is usually time for lunch

I know! When dh is home there's no set time he gets up either. I do make him breakfast and bring it to him in bed most of the time. I want to make sure he eats because he takes insulin and it'll drop him like a rock in water if there's nothing for it to work against. That kind of wakes him up and gets him moving.

There is nothing routine about my mornings. I always try, but fail. Maybe now that I won't have Xavier's therapy or classes in the morning, we will finally get into a routine. I need to make sure to not schedule appointments in the morning. I always think since we homeschool, we can be flexible, but it really throws off the whole day, so I need to be more wise about that.

I'd love to give you some advice on that but, obviously, i've not been the one to manage it myself! :P
