The #1 question I get from non-homeschoolers about homeschooling is the dreaded S word: Socialization. Holiday parties. Prom. etc. etc. The “s word” simply shows that the only reason why the majority of students don’t learn is because their primary concern is socialization, being “cool” and hanging out with their friends, whether it be between switching classes or during lunch. However, you go to school to learn, to get an education, not to socialize. Your neighbor: How do you get socialization? You: How do you get an education?
