Sigh I just bo't 2 new pans to test them out for their non-stickiness. Unfortunately i didn't tell the grands not to use the NEW PANS when they made breakfast this morning.  My mom and my son were here (in bed) while the boys were up cooking pancakes. The heat was on high and they used evoo. sigh Now the pan is scorched. Dh has tried to clean it with baking soda to no avail. I think it may be a goner.

*some* pans improve with soaking overnight with water & fabric softener. The baking soda, tho, may have ruined the new nonstick surface : ( |

There was something on Fb about this problem. I'll see if I can find it. Whatever the solution was, it worked! |
