Pillows.. Throw them on the floor.. Tell him the floor is "hot" or "water".. He can't touch it. He can jump from pillow to pillow... This burns off lots of energy!

Books, puzzles, and videos from the library.

Right now, Xavier is obsessed with reusable stickers and decks of cards. He likes to lay them out and make up games with them. But he's weird, so......

Drawing and painting entertains him for while. I think Dollar Tree has little activity books.

Everything is more fun in a fort.

Bubbles, army men (or similar sets), and magnetic things, are pretty cheap.

Our city has a place that is like a library, but for toys. I think you have to pay a monthly fee, though.

Oh yes Lisa, the stickers are a great idea! Izzy is at that age, too... She loves putting stickers on things.

They can be bought really cheap from the dollar store.. I "always" look at the package to see if there is more than one sheet in the package. Stickers aren't all created equal! Some only have one page of stickers, but If you look, you can find some with 3 or 4 sheets for the same price.

I found a Melissa and Doug book that has reusable stickers and different backgrounds you can put the stickers on. I think it was about $5 from Ross. But I think he's had more fun just playing with the stickers themselves, lol. I remember when I was a kid, I had a little book that I collected all kinds of stickers in, including scratch n sniff! I haven't seen those in forever.

But, beware of stickers where they don't belong! DD at this age covered more than one window with them (as did *I* at this age ; )
