Where does he come up with this stuff?

We have a green unripe pineapple sitting on the kitchen table and today Xavier was asking for it. I said its still too green and not ripe enough yet, but it will be ready in a few days. He said, "But green means go! We can cut it!" I said, "That's just for traffic lights, not fruit". So then he turned on the light that's over the table and he wouldn't let me turn it off because he said it would turn the pineapple yellow. Then he gave me status reports the rest of the day, "The pineapple's still green!" :roll:

Yes, it's definitely a fun age. The other night, I had to read his bedtime story in a whisper (which is surprisingly hard to do), because apparently there's a spider that lives in the closet and it was sleeping. :lol:

I find it funny that the child with a speech delay, who would barely talk at all one year ago, now talks all the time and says the most creative things, out of all the kids.

No, now he says it's "disgusting!". It's not, but it's probably about ripe enough to eat. Which means we'll probably procrastinate a few more days, lol. I didn't get it, my mom did, so she can prepare it. :lol:
