I fell today

Please be in prayer for me.
I finished the 10K race, came home, and promptly fell off my ds's bed.

I'm pretty banged up and sore. My head got caught between the wall and something.. (the mattres or headboard??) and I heard my neck crack.
I'm up and moving but very slowly and oh dear, I'm too old to be doing this sort of thing. I know I'm going to be hurting.
My left leg also got banged pretty good.

Oh dear, that doesn't sound good at all. To think you made it through the 10k and then got hurt at home. I'd have fallen down during the race probably. Now, if you'd stop jumping on your ds's bed, you might not fall off.

Seriously, I hope you are less hurt than it feels like and that healing is swift and complete.

Thank God for small miracles. My ds has a small end table next to his bed. It's between the wall and his bed. I've bugged him about moving it so many times, and he never has.
Well... that little table kept me from going all the way to the floor. The table caught my rump and I was lying/sitting on my left side on that little table.
If I had gone all the way down, I'd be dialing 911 and not posting to you guys.
How cool is that?
I think I may not be able to move my head in a little while. My neck is only hurt but it could have be broken so I'm very thankful!

Who on earth can RUN for 10K upright and fine, then fall off a bed? Tory, you are my amusement for the day!

I'm with Linda & Briva - at least *call* a doctor or ER and ask some questions.
