We had a ball. She is quite the character. Her friends all gathered around me. It was like having a flock of children! They were each so eager to talk to me. They told me stories on Meadow and Meadow told me stories on herself! Meadow pleaded for early dismissal but I told her if she'd stay with no fuss I'd be back again! I'm thankful to have the opportunity to do these little things with her. :)

That is a nice day for both of you!!
I heard on the news about a school.. I think it's local but I'm not sure.
They are making a policy that parents can't come to the school anymore! They can come and stay for only 20 minutes per semester/quarter...
AND they have to call ahead and make an appointment before coming. This request for an appointment can be denied. So.. basically they are blocking access to these people's children.
Of course, the parents are not happy but think they will do it anyway.

Ah, yes I just read this on your thread on the current events board. WOW How scary. I'm thankful that our school around here are parent friendly. I am welcome to walk in any time, sign in, and proceed to any classroom or the lunch room to see my daughter and observe classroom teachings. I'm not saying our schools are perfect but I'm quite happy with the one Meadow is in. They know me well there. :)
