of setting up my personal cloud and it doesn't sound good!

 ARBITRATION MEANS THAT YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JUDGE OR JURY IN A COURT PROCEEDING AND YOUR GROUNDS FOR APPEAL ARE LIMITED.

I'm sure this is a regular thing that's done but it doesn't sound good, does it? They're trying to protect themselves but...

Wow that's pretty bad. I'm sure most people never read that.

I think "reading contracts" should be a "class" in high school!

It seems to be a new thing. When I got my car from Carvana, I had to mail them a letter, opting out from the Arbitration Agreement. I also got an email from Redbox, that they were doing the same thing, and I had one month to mail them a waiver. I wouldn't do business with anyone who didn't give me a choice to opt out, and apparently there are companies that make it mandatory.

Too many lawsuits so I guess they figure this gets them out of it... I barely remember seeing this arbitration thing somewhere else. I remember Ds and I looking it up to see what it meant. It was a while ago do I don't know what it was for now.

It's in much - if not most - boilerplate language now. It's just a way around the legal system. It has both advantages and disadvantages. I'm not fond of it, but it seems there's not much way to avoid it and still do business with anything computerized.
