took advantage of it. I've been wanting to take advantage of the tax free weekend, but we don't have anything to buy at the stores or the money to buy it, lol!

It is not for everything you buy. CLothes, computer stuff, electronics, shoes, stuff like that.

Public school started Aug 1st here.. they had the tax free weekend on Aug 11th-12th.
people were not happy because they had to buy school supplies way before the tax free weekend.

I've never heard of a tax-free weekend here. I don't think I'd get much use out of it anyway.

Ours was August 4th-5th. Lots of stores ran special sales and we stocked up on all sorts of school supplies.
