today,
her doctor knows that we do know want Guardasil shot, or a pelvic.,
She went in by herself , she is 18 now and I really am not suppose to go with her. she is an adult.
They took blood and she got her flu shot.
She came out smiling , she got to be an adult on her own today.
She said the shot hurt worse than the taking of the blood. :(

I go to the office with her but she went in to see him herself. Really her being 18 she can by insurance law I guess you call it , do all the visits etc herself.
I just do not want her having something done that does not need to be done. So far her doctor has not tried to do that. She is healthy and unless she needed an xray for something a routine physical is all she needs.
Will have to show her how to read her results when they come in the mail.

Heaven likes me to go back with her and our Dr.s do not have problems with it.

I don't blame you for not wanting something that doesn't need to be done. :)

I remember when I had to drive myself to the doctor's alone, and have a proceedure done on my shoulder. I had hurt it at work and had to go the hospital. (The doctor was in with the hospital, so that's where I had to go.)
Anyway, I had to have a shot in my shoulder! My mom would not go with me, I was 18 or 19.
I was on the table crying in pain when the nurse asked where my mom was.. I just wailed, "She wouldn't come with me!"
I was mad at my mom for the longest time after that, lol! But I grew up a lot that day.

Poor Tory! Bless your heart. I never wanted my mom to go back with me but my Heaven has always wanted me there. Even when she went in with her miscarriage. I stand behind the table and hold her hand. I keep quiet while she talks to the Dr. Then he always asks me if I have any questions. I appreciate that. If Heaven didn't want me there, I'd definitely respect her wishes.
