On male and female animals/bugs and one of the bugs was an earwig and you could tell by the shape of the pinchers if it's male or female. Ds found an earwig this morning and I heard some mumbling and then he said, "Yep, it's definitely a girl!"

Oh, and you guys are right about the nerf guns! I got ds two of them from the thrift store for $1.50 and told him they would count as early birthday presents. He has not put them down since I got them and even sleeps with them and today he told me it's the most fun he's ever had, lol. One is actually a very nice battery operated one. I just need to buy more darts. Now we all have to be careful because he lies in wait until we walk by and then he uses us for target practice.

Sounds like great fun. My college kids still use their's even at college especially once each semester when the campus plays zombie wars. That's when the kids are split into groups and they try to change each other by hunting them and shooting each other with nerf guns. If a human gets a zombie the zombie becomes a human. Which ever sides gets the most members at the end of the week wins. Don't know why they are called zombies. It's really big around campuses.
