My baby just called me from VA to tell me her first tooth is loose.

Then she went on to talk to me while she drew 2 pics of her and I together. The first one she asked me what to draw and I said a pic of her and I holding hands. She described it as she drew it and told me how and why each thing went on and what colors they were. Then she drew her and I as dinosaurs (after asking if that would be ok with me) and asked me what I would have. I said long eyelashes and a tutu. So she drew that pic and told me all about it. We both have giant tears coming down to splash on the ground because we were so happy to see each other.

Then she said, "Grandma? I only called to tell you I have a loose tooth so I'm going now. I love you and miss you, mwah, goodbye."

I hate how far away she is. sigh

I told her she HAS to mail the pics to me and she said she would for sure. ;-)

So, my dd in OK called just now and told me that her 4yo (my youngest dgs) asked her why they had to take their clothes off to throw the ball! (They were watching Olympic volleyball last night.) Out of the mouths of babes. hehe

She would really have been asking that if she saw the men's diving bikini bottoms. There was not much to that uniform at all!
