Last year we couldn't buy, beg, or borrow a drop, and this year we are getting a couple inches every day. It's definitely a lesson in the value of moderation. I wish I could send this to the Midwest!

We should have worked out a trade! Last year was our rainiest in history, this year the ground is cracked right thru the mulch outside our place.

But, we still have *some* rain coming, but just not as much as we need.

I don't farm, or even have a tiny postage stamp of land, so thank goodness, we're only affected with potential food prices

We are getting rain every day also, Martha. Too much rain. I know we need it, that it's a good thing.. but I wish it would stop and come back at the end of Aug when I'm sure we'll really need it again.
I need to mow the lawn!!! lol!!

We just got rain today, but we really needed rain, a lot of the gardens here ended up wilting becasue of the heat, the garden we planted would have done better if it had of been a little cooler and we'd had more rain.

I'm glad it rained today though, I could do without the thunder and lightening though, especially as my kids were caught out in the storm that passed by today, they were just far enough away to get completely soaked through, plus they saw lightening hit one of the electric lines, they said they could feel the electricity in the air.
