DD got a 91 on this last test. :D She has two labs , one quiz and two test which includes the final next week., a lot to do.

We got the list of the books she needs for her intro to graphic design
and I found them NEW on amazon
for 80 dollars less than the bookstore NEW and less than their used. so Glad.
Just waiting on her math teacher to find out something.
DD sent her the ISBN of the math she is now using and the one they have listed on the bookstore page is different, her teacher that she has now told her class that they would be using the same book for intermediate algebra. this new teacher said the same, praying it is so . so we do not have to get new book . :?

If the book turns out to be different, find out if it is truly a different book, or just a different edition of the same book. Many profs are willing to work with students with an old edition and tell them something like, "read chapter 11, it's on page 180 in the current text, but if you have an older text, it may start on a different page"

Publishers like to put out new editions with new page numbers every year, and make the old editions unavailable so as to force students not to use the old ones and buy new books.
