He doesnt have to make an appointment to take the test? If he does have him do it for early morning or late afternoon.
We have to have appointments for the driving test. That way they know how many they can do a day.

I would schedule an appointment for sure. That way you don't have to waste your time waiting. It's one thing if he wants to waste his time away at the dmv, but why should you have to?

We'll go and see what they say. If they want us to make an appointment we will and just come back then. If they aren't busy, they will take him right away.
Lately, they've been very busy though. SO, if we have to make the appointment and come back, we will.

Can't you call for an appointment? That's what we did. Called at 3:30pm on Monday and got a spot for 3pm the next day.

If he wants the license to drive by hisself he will have to be the one to get there and take the test., I would tell him that, Other wise he can have his mom with him in the car till he decides to take the test., Plus he has to pass it.
Texas driving test are not easy, I know we went back around where the dmv was every weekend for DD to get used to the streets where, the stop signs were, school zones, etc. To be familiar with the area there.
Here is to hopeing he gets up early and gets his license.
