that I don't even flinch at the sight of a scorpion or tarantula anymore? There is a tarantula right outside our front door. I didn't even know what to do with it, so I just left it there.
I'm almost more scared of the wasps and the crickets/locusts the size of small chickens, but even those things are starting to not "bug me anymore (get it?).
One good thing is we're seeing less wasps and more dragonflies. I'm finding you have to take the bad with the good. Even though the bad seems to be so much more than the good, I am enjoying the good. The birds, frogs, lizards, butterflies, dragonflies. They are very welcome and so fun to watch. Our backyard was just swarming with beautiful dragonflies the other evening and it was nice to just sit there and watch them.
But maybe dh was right, I do NOT want to live way out in the country in TX. If I ever move away from TX, I'll be like "You call THAT a spider? Pffft!"
