I guess I have to agree with this. For the most part, I will try anything ONCE. But then, this from the girl whose mother served her ants fried in butter when I was 6. Okay, that was in Nigeria where my parents were missionaries and yes that is a local delicacy. It was fine. When you are 6, you eat most anything your mother tells you is food.
I also ate Hippopotamus, and thought it DISGUSTING.
I always try the local foods when I travel because I think that tells you much about the culture.
