Procedure is done with, hope everything returns to normal

They did procedure yesterday am. In additional to giving me general anesthesia they did a nerve block on my shoulder. It was weird afterwards and looking back on it pretty funny. I couldn't feel my arm or move it so it just hung there. If I got up or walked it would just swing around. The Dr didn't want it in a sling because she wanted me to keep moving it. I scared the cat once last night. I went to pet her and my arm swung down and hit her in the face. I'm still pretty sleepy today and in mild pain. I'm trying not to take pain meds because they'll just make me sleepier. It's hard to make myself use it because it hurts just to flex the arm muscle. Physical Therapy was mostly an assessment to see how much movement I have after the procedure and it's like night and day. I have to keep moving it now so the scar tissue doesn't adhere back to the bone. They gave me several exercises to do at home. I don't mind, I'm just happy I've got most of my movement back Thanks for all the prayers but don't stop, I still have a lot of healing to go.

Hope it all gets better.
My finger is still swollen and I have some pain.
Doing what I was told and will see what happens in another week.
