Removing the scar tissue in my hand last night. I had to put a wash cloth in my mouth to scream because it hurt that bad, the first two minutes are horrible. this will take about 4 to six weeks twice a day. My finger that is swollen he has to work on also for five minutes.
This morning it seemed to be worse around where he took out rather dug out the stitches yesterday.

you have to work on the scar tissue or it was worthless to have the surgery. Every surgery gets scar tissue. We have always worked on it after our trigger finger surgeries. We both did it with therapist the first time and we know what we are suppose to do.
and the exercises also so that the finger gets full motion and does not get stuck and gets flexible.
We have a list of what is to be done for how many minutes each day.

Owee! What a loving husband you have who will help you! Our son had elbow surgery a couple months back and is just now almost at full range of motion. His final appt. is August 8.

Ow! Years ago I had an abscess removed and dh had to pack the wound for weeks for it to heal. It was more painful than childbirth! Since we both worked at the clinic, the nurse showed dh how to do it and he took over after the first time. I would have probably passed out, it was so gross (and I was the med. tech!), but dh isnt bothered by nasty stuff like that.
