We got some much needed rain yesterday evening.
and once it let up some I had DD go with me in the car for a quick drive up to the church and come back. She has not gotten to drive in rain. All this time and it has not rained enough for her to get out there and drive in it.
She got a shock when she hit water on the side of the road in the lane she was in. :o I told her to keep those hands on the wheel and drive through it., That if she can see ahead where the water is to slow down and go through if not do not let go of the wheel when she is shocked because she hit the water.
When we left there was a very bright vivid huge rainbow. When we came back there was a double rainbow. Needless to say she does not like driving in the rain and it was just barely raining so from now on if it rains pretty good gonna get her out there.

A wonderful sign of God's protection in a tough driving situation!

When I was learning to drive, and the first big snow came, Mom took me to an empty parking lot and had me practice throwing on the brakes, sliding, and pulling the car out of a slide. It was great, and very useful experience.

You might try that with DD in both rain and snow.
