My ds actually asked about a job today!!
The guy said it was their slow period and they weren't hiring, but he did tell ds that once school started back that ds should come back and ask again. He said business picks up in the Fall and Winter.
I told him that ds was homeschooled and was free to work mornings, whereas other teens would probably only work afternoons.
He looked very interested then!

So, ds wants to go back in a few weeks. I was pleased with him and told him so.
This is a local bbq place where we went to pick up dinner. We've been there before so the owner knows us somewhat.
They are only open 3 days a week so that would be perfect for ds.
Please be in prayer that this is a first step in the right direction even if he doesnt' get THIS job, he'll be more bold in asking from now on. :)

ALSO, this same ds has driven me around for the past few days. (this is second son that is just learning, not the one that is ready for his license)... this ds has been so timid about driving but today he said, "I'll drive!"... lol! SOO.. I had him drive us there, and other ds drove us home. It was his first time driving with his siblings in the car and first time driving through town with red lights. He did very well.
