I gave her a card and money , and the card said exactly what I wanted. Just two things. Got it wrong. Now she is taking it back. Hopefully the woman we know will be in the return department and she will not have a problem.

Consider it ALL learning!

Us moms, know how to cover, check and re-check, all the bases....... MOST of the time, as we've been burned enough times to learn the routines.
(Though sometimes we miss a beat, too, lol & could slap ourselves when we realize it!)


Some day, she WILL be running her own home, and will, I believe, be very efficient at it!!

I'm an adult and once I wrote on my list "oil"... then once I got to the store I wondered WHY I had oil on my list?? Dh was the one to get that stuff for the cars, I had NO idea what kind of oil to get so I just didn't bother with it.
Of course, once I got home I realized that it was "cooking oil" that I needed and did NOT get!
I learned that day to write out exactly what I wanted. I'm such a scatter brain, lol!

I bet she feels horrible! Poor thing! I remember when my parents started having me get things for them and whenever I'd mess up, I always felt so bad about it. But your right, she'll learn and try harder next time.
