it is stiff in the morning and it is still swollen, It will not go down no matter what. Will have to find out what to do about that Friday.
After about 11am I can bend it further almost touching my palm but still about an inch to go. Changed the bandage because it was too Darn bulky. Put peroxide on the incision and cleaned it but it is still hurting where the stitches are.
I put a bandage on it and wrap it up pretty good. I can grab the door knob between my index finger and middle finger to turn the knob, I am more right handed than left.
Ice being put on it off and on during the day. It is worse when I wake up in the morning after not moving it all night long. and the stitches really really hurt and bug me during the night. It wakes me up.
HOpe everyone read about DD's grades.

I did see the post on your dd's grades. I'm sure that will give her a boost for her next round of classes.

Your finger sounds like it is healing, and doing better. Sometimes it is hard to see/feel the progress when it is so painful. The swelling must be going down some if you are able to bend it like you describe. Are you able to keep it elevated while you sleep? I have always had trouble with that, and it seems to make the healing process take longer (or seems to). Keep doing what you are doing (unless you are over working it, which I also have trouble with).

Will be praying that you see/feel progress happening. It is frustrating that the older we get the longer these things take.
