I am. I'm trying to decide what to do for family members so I can start looking.

If we can, I was hoping to buy a piano for the kids to do piano lessons on (and of course, just have fun on), instead of buying them individual presents. But it all depends on if we have the money (which we probably won't) and dh.

Oh yeah! I have actually done most of my shopping already. I just have a few more things to get and I'll be done, except for wrapping. :D

Thanks for this idea. My kids are older, but we have been wanting to do piano lessons and have never been able.

Well, we have decided it's time to completely change the way we celebrate Christmas. We are instead going to completely focus on Christ. We are even getting rid of our Christmas tree  and almost all of our decorations. I plan on studying up on the Biblical Holy - days and replacing our current more "worldly" traditions. I just LOVE how the Biblical Holydays and feasts all point to Christ and I want my kids to see that.
Besides, last year we had no money for Christmas presents and I thought it was going to be a dreadful day for the kids, but instead we had a BLAST hanging out as a family, cooking together and reading the Word.
So, that is what we are doing this year. I will still buy PJ's and slippers for the kids if I find any I like and we will still have Christmas cookies and dinner.

We bought one from Sam's Club, but it was still $800!!

Lisa, Try freecycle for a piano. I have a friend who got her dc a piano that way (she paid for tuning and minor repairs after they got it). Also, we posted a request for one on someone else's behalf a while back and had several responses. It's a great way to get one - for free!

LOL! My younger sister and her two kids came for a short visit about 2 weeks ago. My nephew discovered our address, self-stamper and he was completely intrigued with it. I told m sister that I am going to buy him one for Christmas with his name on it. She told me that he will probably get a big kick out of it. LOL!
