Some of what I'm reading:
Tending the Heart of Virtue: How Classic Stories Awaken a Child's Moral Imagination by Vigen Guroian -- good book about how classic/strong fairy tales aid in the building of a strong moral character within our children. I'm going to be using the literary suggestions from this book in our homeschool next year.
Road to Emmaus magazine. Just finished a wonderful article about St. Matrona of Moscow, who fell asleep in the Lord in 1952. She was blind her entire life, and spent her life encouraging the faithful to press on in the Lord. Also read an article that was an interview with a Greek family living in their native Greece; it was about how they live their faith within their culture that is becoming more and more godless.
Am perusing
The Incarnate God series, published by St. Vladimir's Press, which goes through the annual Christian feasts one by one. Am also thinking of using this as part of our homeschool next year.
